Australian Shilling, 1910 to 1936
The Australian shilling was first minted in England from 1910 to 1915, before Australia started producing most of it's own from 1916 onwards at Melbourne and Sydney mints.
The 1910 shilling featured King Edward VII on the obverse.
After KEVII's death King George V became monarch of the empire, as such his images are on the obverse from 1911 until 1936, when KGV's reign ended.
